So recently I got myself a Nintendo switch and of course, I thought I can’t have a Nintendo console and not have a Mario game to play with it. What I’m getting at is Mario Odyssey the game I most recently finished and because of that, I want to make a piece of fan art to show how much I enjoyed it. Honestly the last Mario game I played throw all the way was Mario 64, so a long time ago and I really enjoyed this game kind of gave me a bit of a nostalgia trip so I recommend it to anyone that is like me and hasn’t played a Mario game in a long time. Anyway, the image I made for Mario Odyssey is the most retro thing I could think of when it comes to the word Odyssey that being “Odyssey Poem by Home” written in 750 B.C or thereabout, referencing the book covers that often depict a ship on wild sea’s, but also incorporating elements from the game namely Mario and Cappy and Bowsers flying pirate ship.
So please share this with a friend who has played the game or is interested in it and maybe have a conversation about accent Greek literature and how it still impacts stories we tell today… or maybe just talk about your last fortnight match or whatever, I don’t know what kids like these days its either stories that are 3000 years old or battle royal games still waiting for a gif that can accurately inform me.
