And you thought there is never a girl online? That’s not a condescending question its actually the name of an anime about a bunch of high schoolers that play a MMORPG together or more as it’s known more succinctly in Japanese; Hepburn: Netoge no Yome wa Onna no Ko Janai to Omotta? Ahh, roles off the tongue. But honestly, it’s a great short anime about these unlikely friends meeting up and being able to share their interests, as well, try to help one member of their team adapt and grow as she has become somewhat of a social outcast. Hence why I drew this pop art image of the aforementioned, social outcast “Ako” as she’s depicted on the cover of volume 1 of the light novel.
